This site is a place for my photos, articles and rants.
I hope some of the stuff is interesting and that you like at least one or two of the images.
I'm a reasonably keen amateur who has been taking and printing photos for over 65 years, ever since an uncle gave me a camera, developing tank and daylight printing frame. Since 2001 all my photography has been digital. No more mess, smelly chemicals or spending time in a makeshift darkroom.
The site is currently under development. Occasionally you might get a strange error message whilst I am messing about with stuff.
The site is not designed to be good on small devices. It is intended for people with an interest in images and small screens really aren't up to the job; sorry! It is checked on an iPad(tm) emulator and mostly looks ok; no promises though.
The site uses CSS3. This means that you really need a modern browser. Most stuff will be ok on most browsers but old versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) will struggle.
This site does not run any scripts on your computer (except for users of older versions of IE).
Experiment suggests that IE11 (latest) struggles too. Maybe I can't get my security settings correct.
Testing is done with the current version of Firefox. A kind friend also has a look using things like Chrome and IE and reports anything that actually breaks.
The heading image is of the splendid State Legislature Building in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
